The show was aired live across 54 countries of Africa, and has garnered amazing feedback from lovers of creativity and art. This has gained her invitation to showcase at any of the fashion Weeks in Milan, Paris, London or New York in 2019. Doubling as the Executive Fashion Coordinator for this maiden edition of the Spice Lifestyle Honors and a showcasing designer was no easy task, but Chioma brought her Project Management expertise to bear in coordinating the Fashion production segment and producing her ‘Iconic’ collection.
Chioma graduated from Fashion School in 2016, launched Redbutton at the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria platform in 2017, her works have since been featured on CNN Africa, The United Nations Sustainability and Innovation Expo, 2019 launch of UN Alliance on Sustainable Fashion in Nairobi, SPICE TV Africa, and other local and international platforms.
In addition to promoting sustainability through fashion, Chioma also gives back to her community via mentorships for young men and women who aspire to be entrepreneurs or are already running small businesses.
She is a ‘She Leads Africa’ (SLA) Accelerator beneficiary of 2017, a Tony Elumelu Entrepreneur and a Green Champion from the Barrack Obama’s ‘Young African Leaders Initiative’ (YALI), following her efforts to promote the ‘Going Green’ initiative in her community. She’s also an alumnus of The Assembly’s Creative Class of 2018 powered by the British Council and Winner, Nigeria Creative Enterprise (NICE) program 2019 also powered by the British Council.
